It’s officially Farmers’ market season in Humboldt County. Support your local farmers and check out these Humboldt County Farmers’ Markets near you!
The Henderson Center Farmers’ Market is open for the season! Make your way down to Henderson and F St.’s for all your farm fresh, local needs! You can find salad greens and lettuce, strawberries, radishes, Asian greens, onions, kale, humanely raised meats, pastured eggs, plants, freshly baked bread, olives and olive oil, and more. The Market is open 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursdays through October, so come visit.
The McKinleyville Market is now open! Located at the Eureka Natural Foods store in McKinleyville, the market is open every Thursday from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Check out Pizza Gago for wood-fired pizzas for dinner and grab a bottle of Humboldt Honey wine to take home for later! Stop by and say hi to your friendly Humboldt County Farmers!
This Garberville Farmers’ Market is open Fridays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Town Square and features great music and fresh locally produced food. There also will be an abundance of crafts and yummy cooked meals along with various local talents.
The Arcata’s Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy live music, fresh flowers and produce! Anything from organic fruits, vegetables and honey to homemade soaps and lots of reasonably priced succulents can be found at this Farmers’ Market located at 13th and G Streets.
Head over to the Willow Creek Community Commons at the corner of Highways 96 and 299 from 5 to 8 p.m. every Thursday to pick up all your farm fresh groceries to get through the week. Your friendly local farmers will have GMO-free produce, humanely raised meats, pastured eggs, plant starts, and more!
